Joseph Campbell Quote and References
editCampbell's theorizing is widely dismissed by almost all contemporary scholars in the fields that have a bearing on this entry. It makes sense to include some reference to his analysis of the materials as part of the historical record but the length and number of citations of his discredited analysis provide a highly distorted view of the site. doesn't look like a swastika Ace
editIf you actually LOOK at the bracelet (and there are a lot of photos online) it doesn't look like a swastika at all, not even closely. It looks geometric or sort of circular in an angular way but it doesn't look like a swastika...........at all. And since we all know what the swastika came to represent it seems just bizarre to claim that this piece of jewelry made umpty ump years ago bears any resemblance to it. I mean, what an incredibly stupid thing to say.
