Apostrophe 1'1, 2’2, or 3ꞌ3
editI understand that the apostrophe is part of Mi'kmawi'simk's orthography, but most non-Wikipedia online sources such as this, this, this, this, this, this, and this all use orthography distinct from the – selon my perspective – awkwardly spaced apostrophe used here?
It seems there is variation between this: "aaa'bbb" and this: "aaa’bbb" with no online (to my knowledge) use of this: "aaaꞌbbb"
In terms of readability, I am proposing to render the page entirely in this (aaa'bbb) convention. I will also be cross-posting this on the Mi'kmaw language's talk page.
Map of regional groups mislabeled
editThe map of the region divisions in Mi'kma'ki is mislabeled. The PEI/Northern New Brunswick region, Pigtogeoag and Epegoitnag, has swapped the locations between the two. Epegoitnag is centered on the region of PEI, while Pigtogeoag is centered on the region around Pictou, New Brunswick (hence the name, Pigtog:Pictou). In the map presently on the page, the two are reversed. 156.34.73.194 (talk) 19:08, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
