Is she from Tampa or Coconut Grove? Under her picture it says Tampa, yet in the Early Life section it says she was born in Coconut Grove. They are not even close geographically. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.225.217.73 (talk) 01:58, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
just a thought
editmia, hi there. first,i do hope that you receive this note. i am not so literate with the use of computers, so forgive me if this is done or this page is used incorrectly.
now when i mentioned that i hope you get this note, i truly hope this finds it way to you personally. reason being is because in the past few years i have watched your work on So You Think You Can Dance, and i truly admire what you do. i am sure you have heard this numerous times, well heck your work and awards speak for themselves.
i asked my daughter to help find your website on google, and i am in one sense proud of what i read and on the other upset. being proud due to your accomplishments, and being from miami. i am from miami, recently moved to tampa, fl, (yuck):) anyway, yeah lady you are the bomb, and to know you went to New World, which i lived on 47th st and 1st ave, know the area very well. okay on the other sense, upset due to the harsh comments made about your comments, and can you believe your work? well, ignore them, i don't have to tell you that. i believe you are a real person, and it wasn't easy for you either. i am sure you have heard harsh comments in your strife to become who you are and only advising those in the new game to learn how to brush off if it's negative and absorb if it will make you or your craft stronger. you go lady, keep the good work. continue to make us miamians proud of you and i do hope some day i get to personally meet you. i think you are a positive influence for the youth of today. God Bless You
by the way i thought i would tell you a little of who i am, truly a fan of your work. i am 49yrs old from new york originally, as i mentioned from miami, was raised there most of my life, went to fla a/m univ. and fl state univ. didn't do much with my education, i was in the clothing and textiles field in college, and got married and had a kid before i could finish. well i have worked all my adult life, and there you go, that's me in a nut shell. well, just so you don't think i am one of those crazy people you celebrities worry about, i thought i would mention who i am. anyway, i only had to write you because i am a true fan of the dance show, and love when you choregraph a dance for the contestants.
much respect,

- Rose Albury, this is not Mia Michaels's personal webpage. Also, the career section desperately needs some cleanup. Let's take some steps to separate into a chronological Bio, a Career section, and maybe even a subheading for her SYTYCD and post-SYTYCD phases?
Detail level of career section
editMy thought is that if updaters wish to maintain the level of detail of the subject's involvement with a competitive reality show, that the information is checked and updated more frequently, or that her involvement with the show(s) be greatly condensed within the article and the detail table(s) eliminated.
