In 1936, the term "Wushu" was not in common usage. At that time, the Central Guoshu Institute is what was in force and the association that martial artists demonstrated under in Berlin in 1936. The link to wushu even makes this clear. This should be changed so that readers are well informed, but I thought I would put it to discussion first. Rees (talk) 15:49, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
On 31 July 2023, it was proposed that this article be moved from Mian quan to Mianquan. The result of the discussion was moved. |

- Support. Per the referenced source, "Mianquan" follows the rules of Hanyu Pinyin and so meets the requirements of WP:NCZH, and meets the requirements of WP:CONSISTENT as well. Jōkepedia (talk) 17:24, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
