There was a long discussion about made up averages of Rotten Tomatoes scores in film articles. Talk:The_Lord_of_the_Rings_(film_series)/Archive_2#Average_row The consensus of that discussion was that film articles shouldn't do made up averages, and as a result made up averages were removed from most film articles.
