Michael Booker (American football) → Michael Booker – The American football player is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Over the last 90 days, the football player racked up an average of 12 hits/day while the figure skater was at 1 hit/day. The football player also receives more hits from Google search results (my count was about 8,000 to 2,000). -- Tavix (talk) 16:28, 30 April 2016 (UTC) --Relisted. - ...which is 12x more than the other person. "Not worth it" isn't a valid reason for opposing. -- Tavix (talk) 23:39, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
- It just means that neither is that notable. And likely to only be known to very keen Falcons fans or Olympic figure skating fans. Whom are we actually helping by ambiguating? In ictu oculi (talk) 07:11, 1 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
- For simplicity's sake, let's say thirteen people search for "Michael Booker" every day. 12 of them want the football player, one wants the figure skater. If the base title is at the football player, 92% of people get to where they need to go without an extra click, the other is served by a hatnote (exact same inconvenience as before). By having the base title as a disambiguation, no one arrives at the page they want. Everyone is inconvenienced by the dab. -- Tavix (talk) 16:47, 1 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
- Support – evidently the primary topic. SSTflyer 09:43, 1 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
- Support. No indication that the football player isn't the primary topic, just that one person disagrees with our whole concept of primary topics. Calidum ¤ 18:39, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
- Oppose Commonplace name which fails to identify the topic adequately. There is more to establishing clear titles than simply how many 'hits', especially when numbers are so small. Pincrete (talk) 20:50, 10 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
- Support. 87.6% of the page views in a WP:TWODABS situation means this is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Also because it's a TWODABS situation, a hat note to the skater will serve readers just as well as a dab page, without sending the wide majority of readers looking for the football player to a dead end.--Cúchullain t/c 13:34, 16 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
- Support, sure. But the DAB page must be kept with a few more entries that meet MOS:DABMENTION. Nohomersryan (talk) 14:32, 17 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
- Support based on primary topic status. kennethaw88 • talk 05:32, 27 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
