Promotional Material

edit

I made a big revert. The added material taken directly from the subject's web site is completely inappropriate. Regardless of whether the material is licensed under a free license, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a promotional platform. -- Whpq (talk) 01:54, 20 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Potential COI

edit

There is a new user to WP Eli theGreat, who joined a couple weeks ago. Thus far his our edits have been to Michael Dorf (entrepreneur) and his two ventures Knitting Factory and City Winery. The nature of these edits appear to me that there is a very strong COI possibility. In addition the user name implies the person's name is Eli, which is also the name of one of Dorf's children. This comes right after ZacharyDorf began editing the page, and I see Citywinery155 has also edited this page. I have tagged all three pages and put a message on Eli's talk page. If these COI conflicts are not resolved within the next couple of days I will revert the pages back to the last stable version, before all these edits were made. - GalatzTalk 15:19, 10 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Upon further review, the Zachary account was warned on multiple occasions and no disclosures were made and edits continued, not just from a different account. I am going to revert all edits just to be safe. - GalatzTalk 15:29, 10 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
