The company is definitely notable, IMO, yet in its current form this article risks being speedy deleted as spam. The tone needs to change from advertorial to encyclopedic. Peacock words need to be avoided. And sections on specific product ranges can only be included if there are reliable third-party sources which discuss their significance. The article omits one of the major distinguishing factors about the company (or so I was taught in my business course) - that the key to their affordability was the extensive use of 9 carat gold. (Acceptable in Australasia, but not in many other cultures where highly pure gold jewellery is preferred for its investment value). dramatic (talk) 10:22, 27 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
- Agreed re: risks being deleted as spam. Have included an article about North American downsizing which should add balance. The timeline should really include both positive and negative aspects of the company's history. Seaphorm (talk) 03:25, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

An impartial editor has reviewed the proposed edit(s) and asked the editor with a conflict of interest to go ahead and make the suggested changes.
Is it possible to please request an update to company information including store numbers to 305 to date?
There is also a new logo - is it possible to supply this image?
There are changes to the board of directors, and some of the key people information is out of date.
Michael Hill International has an Investor Centre website that updates with current company information including directors, store numbers and up to date press releases.
Please go ahead and update the logo and number of stores in the infobox as non-controversial edits you are allowed to make, however we generally don't need long, comprehensive lists of executives in the infobox. I removed them. If the two names remaining are out-of-date, I would encourage you to correct them without adding a longer list though. CorporateM (Talk) 16:35, 5 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Is it possible for me to also add some content to the infobox? Areas served (Australia, New Zealand, Canada, United States) , Brands (Michael Hill, Emma & Roe), Websites for New Zealand, Canada and Australia and to add the ASX listing information? The company recently listed on the ASX.Lizzah09 (talk) 07:56, 13 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
