[I am the subject of this page]. I have tried a few times to move this page to Michael P. Taylor, which is the form of my name that I use in palaeontology. (In civilian life I am plain Mike Taylor; but I never use the middle initial with "Mike".) I am evidently not enough of a Wikipedia wizard to do it. Can someone who knows what they're doing please make this change? Much appreciated! MirkMeister (talk) 00:17, 15 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
Wow, quick work! Many thanks. Feel free to note that I blog as Mike Taylor if you wish -- I won't do it myself because I avoid editing the page about me. (I know there's a WP:Policy on that, but I can never find it.) MirkMeister (talk) 00:23, 15 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
See, rule 7 notes "If you have a personal or financial interest in the subject of any article you choose to edit [meaning you edit], declare it on the associated discussion page [already done]". IJReiddiscuss14:22, 15 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
By the way, since there are free images of you on SVPOW, is there any picture in particular that you think could represent you in the article? FunkMonk (talk) 06:05, 31 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
