PROD
editPhelan is a sportsperson of national significance, which should now be evident from the article. RashersTierney (talk) 00:14, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- You can remove the PROD yourself! However, at the moment I'd be tempted to take it to AfD as the general notability guidelines state that there must be numerous sources with in-depth coverage of the subject. Do you have any more sources? All Hail The Muffin Nor does it taste nice... 00:21, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- There's a whole bunch here. Sport isn't usually my bag, but the guy is clearly significant in an Ireland sporting context. Am a bit surprised that more dedicated GAA fans haven't turned up to defend. Inter-county hurling usually generates a level of passion that 'outsiders' may find astonishing! Best. - Sorry for not following this up actively, and thanks to RashersTierney for making that clearer. He is certainly a significant GAA person and his details are worthy of note. --Beyonce (talk) 20:29, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
