Omits Substantive Accomplishments

Scriven was also at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, in the 1950s, and this was a major appointment for him (though he may not have had his PhD at that time.)
There is a great picture of the Minnesota department of philosophy at that time that is floating around the internet somewhere (maybe at the Minnesota website). In addition to Scriven it has Feigl, Sellars, May Brodbeck, and a number of others in it.
If I have time this Spring or Summer, I'll dig the picture out and post it somewhere so you can see it, if there is anyone still working on this page. JohnintheBronx (talk) 19:26, 20 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
