Hello, I have a conflict of interest for this article because I am being paid by Paradigm4 to help them add information below. I would like to add the paragraph below to the SciDB section and change the name of the section to SciDB and Paradigm4. I understand that I am not supposed to edit articles where I have a COI, so I’m asking for someone to do it for me.
The DBMS is developed and maintained by Paradigm4, a Waltham, Massachusetts-based company that Stonebraker cofounded with Marilyn Matz, who is the CEO.[1] Stonebraker serves as CTO.[2]
SciDB was designed for big data, which is large volumes of diverse information crunched on thousands of nodes in distributed data centers.[3] It takes S matrices as inputs to analyze big data such as satellite data, geospatial data, and genomic data.[1][2]
The DBMS is multidimensional and uses array-based scaling.
