I've just added major content to the page and removed all stub info, except one sentence which I added to my own content. Oh yes, I kept the external links too, but gave a bit more info about them.

Michel Rivard was born in Montreal in 1951 and was the son of the comedian, Robert Rivard. He was a singer, guitar player and composer who came to prominence with the popular Quebec rock group Beau Dommage during the 1970's. After the group's dissolution he continued to write and perform under his own name. He was also a candidate for the satirical Rhinoceros Party of Canada in 1980 when he ran against former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.
