Lead Image
editI suggest switching it out with this one: http://usaimako.w.interia.pl/sm_neptune033.jpg which kid of conforms to the Haruka one. I'm thinking it has to be part of a set... so if we can find the other two then it should be complete. There is also this card set which we can censor the names off of: http://www.internationalhero.co.uk/s/sailplut.jpg (I've found all four, I just don't like them all that much.) There is also this one: http://www.perryandtsua.com/Sailor_Moon/Sailor_Neptune.jpg (which we'd have to censor the words for, but it's not that hard) --Hitsuji Kinno 05:29, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
- That last one is the one from the same set as Haruka's current image. --Masamage 06:25, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
- I prefer the first one. I searched everywhere and I can't find four similar pics of the Outers. Saturn and Pluto always have to be the odd ducks... -_-;; -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 06:56, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
- I found the set--that's not the issue. The issue is that the last two cards in the set are uhh... butt ugly. There's 2 sets of cards one for each outer Sailor. The ones for Neptune and Uranus--pretty. The ones for Pluto and Saturn, however are really, really ugly. I have found all four in both sets, It's just that the ones for Sailor Pluto make me scared... I know, it's supposed to be showing the element for "time" but I still find them "scary" ^^;; If it was allowable to fix the backgrounds a bit or find a way to make it better for the last two, I don't think there would be an issue now. --Hitsuji Kinno 00:53, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Caption on image says "Sailor Neptune in her third uniform, with talisman", I don't know if it is her third uniform or not (looks like her normal senshi uniform to me, but it has been awhile), I attempted to Be Bold and edit out the "with talisman" as the Aqua Mirror is clearly not in this picture, her hands are in her hair. However since the phrase used in the caption is no where on the edit page I couldn't change it. Whoever next changes the pic, please make the caption for it too. 71.211.139.7 19:29, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

I happened to be tweaking pictures of Neptune for a different project and though't I'd put better versions here. The lead image, I adjusted the levels and brought the hue of her uniform up to blue where it's supposed to be, not the bright green it was (I've found the colors from print sources suck when it comes to matching what's on the screen). The Deep Submerge picture had levels adjusted to remove the yellow tint it contained and compression artifacts cleaned up. EllePollack 18:52, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- The manga image you changed looks too bright to me ♥Eternal Pink-Ready to fight for love and grace♥ 18:56, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't do anything with the manga image. Do you mean the lead image (which is from a playing card) or the Deep Submerge screenshot (which is the one I ended up using as a color reference for my project)? EllePollack 19:42, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- Im sorry it was my computer making it bright then i saw you changed it and put 2 and 2 together and got 5 sorry ♥Eternal Pink-Ready to fight for love and grace♥ 19:47, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- Err...in the future, could you upload new versions of images over the top of the old ones? That makes it a lot easier to deal with things because we don't have to delete any orphaned images. In fact, if you could do that anyway it would be great--go back to the old filenames, upload your cleaned-up versions over the top, and we can delete the ones with the new filenames. Does that sound okay? --Masamage ♫ 19:56, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'm fine with that, but I looked for about an hour trying to figure out how to do that and could only find "you can't". ;p I tried uploading with the old names too and the system wouldn't permit it. Instructions would be appreciated! EllePollack 00:55, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
You find the original image description page, like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Sailorneptune.jpg and you scroll down to the bottom. There you should see a link that says "Upload a new version of this file". and then you click on it and upload the colour corrected copy. you will get a warning, but that's ok, you can just go 'yes, I do really want to upload this file over the old one!' Uploading over the old image is generally better because it preserves the original source, and you don't have to rewrite a detailed fair use rationale. *hint to anyone who can write these well* -Malkinann 01:32, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Sounds dandy but I can't find such a link anywhere and I offer proof that I am not blind. -.-; EllePollack 01:50, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Weird. It's right above 'edit this file' on my screen. Were you logged in when you took that? Because anon users can't upload stuff. --Masamage ♫ 02:06, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yes. I did just create this login today however, don't know if that maters. If someone can reupload the pics for me I'd appreciate it. EllePollack 03:40, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Arr, that's probably it, then. I'll do it. ^^ --Masamage ♫ 04:03, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks Malkinann for doing one of the uploads! I did the other and deleted the redundant images. (Generally I'd just tag them for speedying by an outside editor like usual, but because there was consensus here (including the original uploader) I decided to go for it. Give me a ring if this bugs anybody!) --Masamage ♫ 04:12, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Arr, that's probably it, then. I'll do it. ^^ --Masamage ♫ 04:03, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
cousins
editi don't think the dub could make their mind up about them being cousins or lovers because in one eppisode they sead they grew up together and another one said they did't meet until they were older its confusing Sailor cuteness 13:47, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, Hitsuji Kinno's take is that they're just liars. :D --Masamage 19:33, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Sailor Cuteness can you remember the episode where they said they grew up together? I couldn't find it. And personally I was masochistic enough for one day... --Hitsuji Kinno 06:02, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

- I'm pretty sure it was intentional. -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 08:33, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- Feels like that to me, too. More of a dig on Raye not being able to spell. X) --Masamage 18:27, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
its good thing her school just lets them skip grades unlike usagi who has entrance exams sailor cuteness-ready for love 21:24, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- Rei doesn't skip grades, she's just automatically eligible to move ahead without any testing. Also, on a somewhat related note; I read somewhere what the "TA" in her school name was, but now I can't remember. Anyone else know what it is? -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 09:13, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- Someone told me Thomas Aquinas, but I think they were either making stuff up, or that's the dub only. Even if the latter, I have no real source. --Masamage 19:57, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- Moved this discussion to Rei's school -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 09:08, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
Music Storage
editA number of songs featuring Michiru's character have been released.[1]
From the original anime, sung by Masako Katsuki:
- "Unmei wa Utsukushiku" (Fate is So Beautiful) - From Sailor Moon SuperS
- "Senshi no Omoi" (Feelings of a Soldier) - From Sailor Stars
From the musicals, sung by various actresses:
- "Making for the Right"
- "Chou bi! Uranus and Neptune."
- "Orleans no Sei Senshi - Uranus - Neptune no Uragiri" (Soldiers of Orleans - Uranus and Neptune's Betrayal)
- "Sailor War!"
- "Broken Mobius"
- "Hash! Saint Cry!!"
In the Musicals she sung
- Destend Couple(Duet with Sailor Uranus)
Why is sailor War on Neptune and Uranus' sungs, it was a full group song, you might as well list all the theme songs as well.Yayamaya 02:24, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Precognitive power
editCan someone give me the lowdown on exactly what Michiru's slight psychic talents are? I'm working on the prosified attacks section and my memory has gotten fuzzy. I think she senses danger approaching, and sometimes stuff about people. Does she react to Usagi? I don't remember. Any help would be great. --Masamage ♫ 02:33, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Her powers (psychically), are mainly the same as the outer senshi. Notably, she does have the ability to detect oncoming dangers. "The sea is rough, a storm is approaching" is what she says continually in the S season, and I believe she says it a couple times in Stars. She does not know things about other people, though. If she did, she would have tried to kill Hotaru immediately, for she would have known she was Sailor Saturn. And no, she never psychically reacts to Usagi. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sbloemeke (talk • contribs) 12:02, 10 April 2007 (UTC).
- So...Sailor Uranus has precognition too? I thought it was just Neptune. --Masamage ♫ 21:35, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Uranus has a tiny bit. Pluto does too. In the S season, they all get those precognition dreams of a shadowy figure, yet Rei is the only inner senshi to get it (Before they are revealed to it by Pluu). Michiru is just the most outward to express it, and her mirror has abilities to aid her too. Sbloemeke 01:52, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

Super Form
editShe is never shown transforming into her super form in the anime. The only time her transforming in all of Stars is into her 1st uniform to fight the Glass monsters. Her outfit and powers are then upgraded by the baby hotaru. Any time she appears in her super form, she has already transformed off screen. Once she transforms with no incantaton or sequance when confronting the Starlights. Uranus and Pluto are the exact same way. Lego3400: The Sage of Time 15:42, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Good call; I'd forgotten that. *edit edit* --Masamage ♫ 21:28, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Should we mention that she calls out "Neptune Crystal Power Make-Up!" in her prologue track of the Memorial Song Box, coz since it's her anime voice actor I guess it counts as proof of the phrase existing in the anime. http://fighter4luv.net/sm/neptune-crystal.mp3 ~ Fighter4luv 13:54, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- Huh, cool. Bizarrely, Sailor Pluto still uses Planet Power in hers...looks like Takeuchi was involved in the writing of Pluto's but not Neptune's. Not sure if that makes a difference to issues of canon or not, but as long as we don't call it proof of anything, I think it's fine to point out. I'll add it to a ref. --Masamage ♫ 16:26, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Proposed move to Sailor Neptune
editPlease be aware of the discussion at WP:SM about moving this article to the title Sailor Neptune. --Masamage ♫ 18:57, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- Consensus seems to have been reached, so here goes! I'll move it, then rewrite the lead, then clean redirects and such. --Masamage ♫ 02:16, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Maria?
editDoes she look like Maria Robotnik (minus greenish hair) from Sonic to you guys? Mew Mitsuki (talk) 22:14, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Only very passingly. --Masamage ♫ 23:11, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Minus the green hair and differing hairstyles, everyone looks like everyone in anime. JuJube (talk) 23:13, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
I guess that is true, just noticed it since I am curently learning how to draw Maria, and maybe because I am a little obsessed, lol Mew Mitsuki (talk) 19:01, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Soldier of Comprehension
editSailor Neptune's English translated title of 'Soldier of Embrace' has been around for decades, but it makes no sense. In Japanese she is called 'houyou no senshi', and I'm sure people have mistranslated that as 抱擁 (embrace, hug) instead of 包容 (comprehension, perception). I don't have the Japanese sources to look at the kanji there, but Sailor Neptune being the hugging soldier makes zero sense. She should be the 'Soldier of Comprehension'.
