Possible COI edit
editHi, I gained knowledge about MicroPatent by contributing to Intellogist which is itself a free site with a wiki portion. I linked back to an article published by Intellogist about MicroPatent for my reference. I believe both the original article and the edits I've made on this Wikipedia article are factual and neutral. I hope this edit can stay. Kwikiva (talk) 16:47, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Intellogist as a source
editHi, the citations to Intellogist were removed from my last edit. I read the Wikipedia:Reliable_sources page and I understand why there might be some confusion, but the citations in this case were not to an open wiki page. They were to protected wiki pages that are not editable by the public. The website in question is run by a patent searching firm and the content was produced by that firm. In addition, employees of that firm have published books on patent searching (http://www.amazon.com/Patent-Searching-Techniques-David-Hunt/dp/047178379X). The articles are also written with an objective point of view. Based on this new information, would these citations be appropriate?Kwikiva (talk) 21:19, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- In my opinion, the sources do not meet our guidelines, but you could request a third opinion. --Edcolins (talk) 22:15, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Past tense?
editThis article refers to MicroPatent in the past tense. Does it no longer exist? If that's the case, a description of how it ended would be necessary. --JDspeeder1 (talk) 13:00, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
