Functional / disorder?
editI had been lead to believe that cardiac syndrome x was a functional ("psychosomatic") disorder, like IBS or fibromyalgia. If this is not the case then there is definitely come confusion in the medical textbooks between this syndrome and truly functional chest pain. Perhaps this article could discuss the differences between this rather esoteric syndrome and functional cardiac pain? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.97.29.181 (talk) 17:37, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
L-arginine
editJust throwing it out there, had a lecture that included MVA, which said that L-arginine infusion restores the vasodilatory response quite a bit... mechanism is that L-arginine is required to produce NO to vasodilate, and this is lacking. http://www.circ.ahajournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/94/2/130 http://journals.indexcopernicus.com/abstracted.php?icid=878484 Africantearoa (talk) 10:15, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Cardiac syndrome X → Microvascular angina – Name largely replaced from early 1990s. Microvascular angina is an easier more descriptive name. Ngrams and NCBI results show a ten times more and a four times more usage. Iztwoz (talk) 17:11, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
