Seems to be some confusion around this term. Theres a case for Midfield General having its own page. Roy Keane, Patrick Viera et al are archetypal examples of the Midfield General. Midfield Maestro can be applied to the likes of Zidane, Gerrard etc. Also, who is Mark Chipchase? There is no such professional footballer. I would suggest deletion. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.9.176.65 (talk) 20:58, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Why is Scott Parker on this list?
- Because I added him. Mark272 10:12, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
Ronaldinho and Riquelme don't fit the description provided. They don't defend. --82.36.205.181 11:47, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
Ballack nor Ronaldinho belong. They are both attacking midfielders.
Ballack and Ronaldinho are exactly the type of players needed. Roy Keane is inappropriate (too defensive-minded). Also, where are Zinedine Zidane, Michel Platini and Rivaldo?--Granthursin 22:48, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
