I think the following short blurb is interesting, but it was purged on the holy altar of DAB page contentlessness. So moved here to talk page rather than being vaporized into oblivion.

Midvale is an English-language toponym whose basic meaning is "the middle of a valley" (mid- + vale). A variation with the same basic meaning is middale (mid- + dale).
