Mighty Ducks (disambiguation) → The Mighty Ducks (disambiguation) – The Mighty Ducks (the media franchise) is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC so the dab page should exist at that name with the (disambiguation) qualifier per MOS:DABPRIMARY. Mighty Ducks (disambiguation) will then redirect there. Mdewman6 (talk) 00:49, 6 February 2021 (UTC)—Relisting. User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 01:34, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
- Delete the disambiguation page. It is not required: all the entries are already prominently linked from The Mighty Ducks except Cincinnati Mighty Ducks. I suggest a hatnote at The Mighty Ducks like
{{redirect|Might Ducks|the hockey teams|Anaheim Ducks|and|Cincinnati Mighty Ducks}}
. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 12:16, 6 February 2021 (UTC) - Oppose per WP:DABNAME "The simplest form of the term is preferred to those containing punctuation, diacritics and articles" however most entries do use "The" at least but Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series (which appears to be naturally disambiguated) doesn't. Crouch, Swale (talk) 10:08, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose per Crouch. Rreagan007 (talk) 03:31, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose per Crouch, Swale, but definitely DON'T DELETE the disambiguation page. Paintspot Infez (talk) 04:39, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
MOSDABPRIMARY
edit@Mdewman6: MOS:DABPRIMARY says "When the primary topic article has a different title than the term being disambiguated, then the first line normally uses a redirect from the ambiguous term to link to that article:". The consensus at the RM was to use the title without "The" so it should be linked without the "The". Crouch, Swale (talk) 09:03, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- Alright, I will revert my reversion. Thanks for the note. Mdewman6 (talk) 18:05, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
