Jawaharlal Nehru Award

edit

The claim about Jawaharlal Nehru Award has a source, so the category should not be removed. Grandmaster (talk) 06:04, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps you would like to point me out his name from the list of the recipients[1]. VartanM (talk) 22:14, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
He isn't Mother Teresa, is he? VartanM (talk) 22:46, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
It looks like there's another Nehru award, because there's a number of other alleged recipients from the former USSR that are not mentioned there. Aitmatov is one of them: [2] Another recipient from Belarus: [3] I think the claim should be removed from this article until the issue is clarified. And the info about Abdullayev being a recipient of this award is supported by third party sources too: [4] So maybe the list at the website you cited is not complete and they awarded it to more than 1 person every year, or it had some categories? --Grandmaster (talk) 09:33, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
