"Vaginas" controversy

edit

I have been on both sides of an edit war regarding the story from June 14 about Rep. Callton's response to Rep. Lisa Brown's comments. I remind all editors to keep the following guidelines in mind:

  • The controversy is itself a notable event since it was picked up by the mainstream press.
  • Any Wikipedia coverage must be written from a neutral point of view and must be sourced.
  • Major edits should be discussed here, on the talk page.

She had made comments on the house floor that prompted many Republicans to complain about their offensive nature.
This sentence implies that Lisa Brown's statement was, in fact, offensive. This is not NPOV.
