editUser 66.245.50.194, who identified himself on my talk page with the e-mail address MikeFriedrich99@earthlink.net, may or may not be actually the comic-book writer Mike Friedrich, given that anyone could use the name MikeFriedrich99. Regardless, he made major, unwikified additions that even on cursory reading appears to follow the format of a press-release biography. It makes numerous unverified claims, uses improper formatting (only first word and proper nouns are capped in subheads, for example), and if this is indeed Mike Friedrich the unverified claims are original research and WP:COI. If it is not Friedrich, it violates WP:NOT by being essentially a resume, and also by its non-encyclopedic WP:TONE.
I propose rather than a full overhaul that creates a press release-style text inappropriate for an encyclopedia that we make edits one paragraph at a time and let fellow editors collaborate on this in manageable chunks. --Tenebrae (talk) 02:12, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Yeah... Um... Does anyone think that this line makes sense?
editFriedrich was bought up as Roman-Catholic[5] (However he could just as very well be Jewish.[6]) He is now a Methodist Deacon.[7]??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8004:2740:761C:79D7:BFD2:C76:BC8A (talk) 13:00, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
Something that should not be left off Friedrich's credits is the original THE BATMAN ENCYCLOPEDIA--- — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.23.5.35 (talk) 17:44, 22 August 2023 (UTC)
