Racist External Links
editThe second external link here is a fairly retarded racist website. Someone should do something about that.
Wrong NFL link and info.
editThe statistics link under the picture points to http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/493120 which is not Mike Furrey's page, it's Roy Williams. Also, the years given for Mike Furrey's NFL career are wrong, he was not playing for the Lions in 2003-present.Derek Balsam 19:30, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
POV statements
edit"Furrey is Hilliard's finest athlete" is not an encyclopedic statement of fact, it is opinion. I'm sure Mr Furrey is a fine athlete. But you should refrain from making statements of opinion without citation or quotation. This helps keep Wikipedia neutral. Please see Wikipedia:NPOV and Wikipedia:NPOV tutorial#Attribution and citation. I have already removed this statement of opinion from two articles, once here and once at Hilliard, Ohio. It may be the anonymous author's opinion, but it does not belong in the encyclopedia article, unless it's a quote or has a citation. Derek Balsam 19:39, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Cleanup
editThis page needs cleaning up. The several different sections don't harmonize with each other. It goes from Furrey's high school years straight to the XFL. There's nothing about his college career until you get to the St. Louis Rams section. That section also talks about his AFL career, which is what the previous section was about. Outreach
editMr Furrey, I understand you are a Christian and proud of that. The women's ministry at my church; The Key To My Father's House, is planning to put on a conference on Sept. 25 from 9:00am - 3:00pm. We are interested in your testimonial and your Christian walk in general. Is this something you and your wife participate in? If so, is there a fee? The conference would be at the church which is located in Wadsworth, OH. You can see more about the church on our website; TKTMFH. I would appreciate a response if possible through email at madeluca4@yahoo.com Thank you Mary Ann DeLucaMinistry4 (talk) 16:52, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
