This page is biased towards/against Lindell because it mentions (or doesn't mention) X! Why won't you fix it?
Having a neutral point of view does not mean giving equal weight to all viewpoints. Rather, it refers to Wikipedia's effort to discuss topics and viewpoints in a roughly equal proportion to the degree that they are discussed in reliable sources, which in political articles is mostly mainstream media. For further information, please read Wikipedia:Guide to addressing bias. |

edit@HistorianL: I noticed you replaced the image in Lindell's infobox to one you have taken. While it is great that you've gone ahead and taken a photo of him yourself, we already have higher quality and recent photoportraits of Lindell so please do not replace the picture.

- I think it’s obvious which image im voting for. I vote for Option A HistorianL (talk) 20:14, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- This isn't a democracy, and please do not let your personal attachment to the photo dictate which photo you will support. It should be obvious that the photo on the left is of a lesser technical quality, considering the odd posture, low resolution, and unprofessional composition. ―Howard • 🌽33 20:25, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- The image could be used elsewhere in the article, perhaps to showcase his attendance at the Turning Point Convention with some extra information about his connection to the convention. But, according to MOS:IMAGELEAD, the lead image should be "the type of image used for similar purposes in high-quality reference works." This means that we should avoid the usage of casual selfies if we have photographs by professional photographers available.
- Also, please do not remove people's comments on the talk page without good reason, see WP:TPO. ―Howard • 🌽33 20:35, 26 June 2024 (UTC)

I've restored the status quo image at while people reach consensus here. I have no opinion myself, just noting that there is a third image in the running here. GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 20:39, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- I'm honestly fine with the status quo image remaining. It's of high technical quality, although the posture of Lindell is a bit awkward with his neck twisting like that. ―Howard • 🌽33 20:41, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- correct, it's not a democracy. It's a republic. Saying he is a conspiracy theorists is like said Biden didn't have document. Which until now was totally illegal, he was never in a position to. Where is the FBI raid? Wiki leans so far left if the world was flat, wiki would fall off. 2600:1009:B17C:4606:6484:665F:AD16:8C3C (talk) 11:36, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
- I like the eager enthusiasm of the new pic and its prominent display of Mike's signature crucifix. SPECIFICO talk 16:49, 15 September 2024 (UTC)

i request to remove conspiracy theorist as that is someone's opinion not fact. A conspiracy theory is just that.a theory. So it is an idea bot a fact. Like Wikipedia spreads conspiracy theory. See how that is my opinion and not a fact. 2600:1007:B009:F08:58A8:A3CD:B517:5A13 (talk) 12:02, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
- Not done Wikipedia summarizes what independent reliable sources say about a topic, and they say Mr. Lindell is a conspiracy theorist. You are free to disagree with that, but that doesn't change what the sources say. You are free to get those sources to change how they describe Mr. Lindell first, or to offer sources that claim he is not a conspiracy theorist and has proven his theories in court(which he hasn't). 331dot (talk) 12:16, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

Add Controversy section:
Mike Lindell is facing backlash online after his company marked down some of its pillows to $14.88, a figure seen as symbolic for white supremacists and neo-Nazis.
On Friday, Lindell and his MyPillow business advertised the discounted products on social media, promising consumers the “ultimate comfort upgrade.”
“Sleep like a dream with our Standard MyPillow for just $14.88!” the posts read in part.

The number “1488” is a common symbol used among hate groups. The “14” is shorthand for the “14 Words,” a stand-in for a white supremacist slogan, while “88” refers to an abbreviation of “Heil Hitler,” since H is the eighth letter of the alphabet.
The posts were shared on major platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X, formerly Twitter. As of Saturday afternoon, the posts remained online, with hundreds of comments denouncing Lindell.
A spokesperson for MyPillow did not return a request for comment. Lindell could not be reached for comment.
Lindell, a staunch ally of former President Donald Trump, has repeatedly boosted conspiracy theories falsely claiming that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Trump.
In 2021, Lindell offered $5 million to anyone who could win his “Prove Mike Wrong Challenge” by disproving data related to his election fraud claims.
In February, a judge confirmed that Lindell had to pay $5 million to a computer forensics expert who successfully took on Lindell’s challenge. Lindell recently handed over financial documents in the case as the expert tried to collect the money. 126.173.55.84 (talk) 13:24, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
- You don't provide sources for these claims. We don't normally do "controversy" sections(see WP:CRIT)- we just state the topic areas, as this article already does. If you have sources for this information, it may be possible to add it. 331dot (talk) 13:30, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
- Not done: As pointed out by 331dot, this fails on WP:CRIT. It also doesn't seem to be neutrally worded enough to pass WP:BLP. Finally, the edit request template is only for uncontroversial edits. These sort of changes should first have a consensus developed, rather than being made via the template. PianoDan (talk) 15:53, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

- This is discussed at MyPillow(under "other controversies" there). If you have independent reliable sources that more closely tie this to Mr. Lindell and not just his company, please offer them. 331dot (talk) 15:20, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
