An editor, using multiple IP addresses, has repeatedly made unsourced additions claiming that MacRae voiced Buzz Lightyear in several video games. I've never found any reliable sources to support this. The end credits for these games include many voice actors, but none of them are specifically credited as any particular characters. It's just a cast list, without character names. MacRae is only one of many people credited. It could be true that he voiced Buzz, but it needs sources for verification. It seems that this idea of him voicing Buzz was the result of guesswork from someone who then had their friends spread the idea around on wiki sites and IMDb, both unreliable sources (WP:UGC). This should be removed if there are no reliable sources in existence to support the claims. The burden to provide reliable sources is on the editor who wants to add or restore such information. VoiceChasers.com was added as a source by one of the various IP editors, but it seems questionable based on earlier discussions here and here. AJFU (talk) 18:48, 3 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
You don't even know that user on BTVA.com, saying he's "quote" on "quote" guessworking the information and making it up and this and that, he's the one that did a lot of evidence and compared the voices on whose who, that did the voice of Buzz. But still, we all know it wasn't Stephen Stanton, because he only did Buzz on Mad. Besides, you don't even know his friends either, what makes you think they spread around the info with him and this and that about the information, you don't even know if that's true or not. You can't make up stuff over a user you don't even know. No offense, just saying what your saying about him is not true. Besides, the other user that was adding the Buzz info back in the article here is right, because that guy on BTVA.com worked really hard to get the information correct and on IMDb, so please don't blame him for making it all up. 174.192.11.221 (talk) 01:49, 4 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
