Death

edit

Reports on Twitter are suggesting that the subject of the article has recently died. I have yet to come across any other source outside of there. Is Twitter considered a reputable enough source for the article to be edited to reflect this? Please see attached:

The family have now released a statement saying he is still alive - page should be amended promptly, surely? OGBC1992 (talk) 08:47, 2 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Could you link to that statement? The only source I can find saying that is The Sun, which isn't a reliable source for Wikipedia. Reliable sources like the BBC and The Times are reporting his death though, so if you could link the family's statement that would be great. Schminnte (talk contribs) 08:52, 2 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
This is the best I can provide - a screenshot of an Instagram post on Twitter. Still not ideal.

Given the explanations and the official account status, I have removed the information pertaining to Mike's "death". Thanks for telling us. Schminnte (talk contribs) 09:22, 2 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
