MILCK → Milck – Per MOS:ALLCAPS. See Chvrches (not CHVRCHES), Benee (not BENEE), etc... 162 etc. (talk) 23:13, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- ALLCAPS deals with article content. Refer instead to WP:STAGENAME. We regularly use non-standard capitalization for pseudonyms. Compare MGMT or k.d. lang. Chvrches doesn't really count because the stylization is unpronounceable, as it uses the xi as a symbol rather than a letter (see WP:TSC), even if you give them the benefit-of-the-doubt over the V. Benee may simply be wrong, depending on whether sources generally prefer the all caps version.
- MGMT is a fun one, because it's pronounced as an initialism, but is actually an abbreviation turned into a pseudo-initialism that doesn't stand for anything. But at the end of the day, sources refer to them as "MGMT" pronounced "em gee em tee" and not as "Mgmt" as you would normally abbreviate "management". GMGtalk 12:08, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
- Support: Whether we refer to MOS:ALLCAPS ("Reduce text written in all capitals in trademarks"), WP:STAGENAME (P!NK → Pink (singer)), MOS:TM (TIME → Time (magazine), KISS → Kiss (band), ASUS → Asus) or WP:TITLETM (Invader ZIM → Invader Zim), Wikipedia avoids unnecessary capitalization. A quick scan of the titles of cited sources makes it clear that the "MILCK" all-caps styling is not followed consistently by independent reliable sources. It also appears unlikely to be pronounced as a series of individual letters. As for MGMT, see Talk:MGMT#Requested move 5 March 2019, which points out the different circumstances. — BarrelProof (talk) 23:54, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
- Support: Largely per BarrelProof. Cinderella157 (talk) 10:18, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
- Weak support sources are mixed[1][2] so I agree with BarrelProof. Crouch, Swale (talk) 10:28, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
- Support – and sources being mixed does not in any way reduce the rationale provided in detail by BarrelProof. Dicklyon (talk) 17:01, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
