Remove "Milo" Alias

I could not find a reference to "Milo" in the article when I looked into this request today.

I have, however, removed the sections "Miley's relationships" and "Personality", as they were lacking any references; facts cannot appear on Wikipedia unless they are supported by reliable, verifiable references.

I have also tagged the article as requiring reference improvement, as I noted that other facts within the article were not supported by references.

Article protection

Regarding the semi-protected status; I note that there is no recent history of vandalism, and that the previous alleged vandalism was by a single IP address 90.208.181.228 (talk · contribs), which has since been blocked from editing. I will therefore request that the semi-protection status be lifted.

Protection was set March 2 and is set to expire May 2. This article was heavily vandalized mostly by comments about the actress, not the character. 90.208.181.228 (talk · contribs) was not the only IP and the block was a temporary one. Kanonkas (talk · contribs) was the admin who protected the article - he may be willing to lift the protect. I'm OK with leaving it protected for now. --NrDg 14:12, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

For a television series that has been broadcast the episode itself is a primary reliable source and can be used as such - as a reference to factual content that is in the episode itself. There is, of course, the overall problem of a lack of out-of-the-universe references that plague most fictional character articles. --NrDg 13:14, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

unnecessary information

"Jackson is a funny character and is teased about his short height in several episodes; he also works at Rico's Surf Shop. Rico (Moises Arias) is a rich boy, who looks small but is so intelligent that he has skipped a few classes and joined high school."

I think that the above quote should be removed from the article. There are biographies for both Jackson and Rico, and this info does not pertain to Miley herself. I posted here first because this is a highly watched article, but if there are no objections I'll go ahead and delete. If you are referring to a gallery in a previous page version, I guess its been removed. If you are talking about the picture of Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana, I think its useful as identification and shouldn't be removed. Liquidluck (talk) 23:04, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Original research

I've just cleaned up the infobox, adding citations and replacing WP:SYNTH with cited content.[1] Of special note, the reference supporting claims of Miley's ages was mostly WP:SYNTH. I've fixed some of the article but there are still obviously dubious claims, such as the date and reason for her mother's death that need to be addressed. Wikipedia is not censored but since Hannah Monbuttface debuted in 2006 and the porn star didn't start her career until 2007, the link seems to have no relevance to this article so I've removed it. --08:16, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

The backstory section under the Character heading lists people who knew Miley's secret before she told the world. However, Officer Diaria and his daughter also knew Miley's secret before the big reveal (S3E2 Ready, Set, Don't Drive), and it's somewhat implied she told Dwayne Johnson in S2E17 Don't Stop Til You Get The Phone. Please adjust the final sentence of the section accordingly.

Also, there's a typo in the backstory section. Siena should be spelt with one N. Please fix that there and anywhere else that mistake might have been made. Spark2212 (talk) 12:22, 19 September 2023 (UTC)

Under Romantic Relationships in the Character section, Oliver Oken is listed as a romantic interest. Miley and Oliver were never in a relationship and in fact they both have expressed that the idea of them getting together is just weird. I don't really think Oliver's infatuation with Hannah Montana before he finds out she's really Miley counts. Please remove Oliver from the list of romantic interests.
