That pages lists the Bavarian Militärverdienstorden (1866) but not this Militärverdienstkreuz which is a different medal.
This page lists the WWI ace Max von Mueller as a holder of the Militärverdienstkreuz but in the German Wikipedia his is listed as a holder of the
Bayerische Militär-Verdienstmedaille aka Tapferkeitsmedaille.
I removed an entry listing Ludwig Erhard as a holder of the Militärverdienstkreuz. I could not find evidence of this being awarded to him on the basis of his WWI service. He is listed as a holder of a civil Bavarian Service medal (Bayerischer Verdienstorden) awarded to him in 1959.
