The current version of this article states that in "1765, Emperor Joseph II added the Commander's Cross and the Knight Cross 2nd class." I believe this is incorrect, as Joseph II added the Commander's Cross and a star to be worn on the breast by holders of the Grand Cross. A Knight Cross 2nd class did not exist. What DID exist were special Knight Crosses with diamonds which were presented particularly by Emperor Francis Joseph I. (1848-1916) to Knight Cross holders who held the cross for 50 years and over. (Source: Exhibition of the Austrian Mint and the Austrian Orders Research Society, july 23rd-January 24th, 2003, Vienna)
I therefore request that the sentence "On October 15, 1765, Emperor Joseph II, added the Commander's Cross and the Knight Cross 2nd class." be changed to "On October 15, 1765, Emperor Joseph II, added the Commander's Cross and a breast star to be worn with the Grand Cross."

There is a mistake in the article: the last Maria-Terézia Order was awarded in Hungary in 1944. See documentation of the current exhibition in the Military-History Muzem (Hadtörténeti Muzeum) in Budapest.
