This article is in good shape. A few comments:

• in the lead, when listing the P5, suggest Soviet Union (now Russia) and link Soviet Union at first mention above and at first mention in the body

• Done

• US Joint Chiefs of Staff, and be consistent with U.S. and US throughout

• Done (I think I got them all)

• United States Department of State is duplinked

• unlinked second mention

• "favored an international organization" is a bit obvious, do you mean a "multi-national organization" this appears at the end of the para also
