Addition to article
editCan someone please help me add on to this article? I need some help, and this should be a rather large article based on the topic.NapoleonAlanparte 20:47, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
No. There are already three articles covering this topic, listed at this page, and this can only be a 'contents' page linking to them, or may be even removed altogether and each one linking to the next in chronological order.

Oops, ignore that note. There may be a need for an article covering the military history of the Rus', Moscovy etc etc. Buckshot06 00:40, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Maybe convert to a disambig page?
editThe military history of the current state of Russia covers four distinct periods:
- The Military history of Rus' and other states leading up to Muscovy
- Military history of Imperial Russia
- Military history of the Soviet Union
- Military history of the Russian Federation

Merge with history of Russia?
editThis article is very short and would probably give more information in the context of the History of Russia article. That would allow readers to easily compare the military development with the general development of Russia. ie, how they affected each other. Thanks, George D.
