Evergreen Line and UBC

edit

The UBC line, assuming light metro rapid transit is chosen as the technology, would be part of the Evergreen Line, due to the fact that it will replace Millenium Line service between Lougheed (inclusive) to VCC Clarke. Millenium Line service will terminate at Lougheed — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gingeroscar (talkcontribs) 23:48, 29 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

There's no need to speculate. It's not clear what the lines will be when the Evergreen Line opens. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:08, 30 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Future of Braid and Sapperton stations

edit

The Evergreen article says the Millennium line will terminate at the Lougheed Town Centre. Does this mean the Braid and Sapperton stations are being decommissioned? This is not very clear in the Evergreen article and not specified at all in this article. What line will they be part of once Millennium terminates at LTC? 68.146.52.234 (talk) 22:29, 12 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

I think you're misreading the article. The Evergreen line will go Lougheed Station. No further. The Millennium line will continue on its normal route. See http://www.evergreenline.gov.bc.ca/documents/Maps_Graphics/Transit_Map.jpg. Walter Görlitz (talk) 02:37, 13 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
You're actually wrong. The Expo will be split, with one service going to King George and the other going to Production Way-University. The Millennium will be rerouted to go from VCC-Clark to Lafarge Lake-Douglas. Cganuelas (talk) 13:30, 4 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
In the lack of actual evidence, I don't think either of us can say anything for certain. Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:11, 4 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Now that the line is functioning: Millennium Line stops at Lougheed. Evergreen Extension does not go past Lougheed. Expo Line is split. 208.81.212.224 (talk) 22:53, 26 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Reduced to two-car trains to keep intervals

edit

How do we incorporate the response to this tweet: https://twitter.com/TransLink/status/790578319251111937 ? Millennium Line and Evergreen Extension are only running two-car trains (but with greater frequency). 208.81.212.224 (talk) 22:50, 26 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
