Not really. Miller Freeman did not go under, it was bought up and divided up because it was successful. Read the 2005 article "The immortal Miller Freeman: industry legend" in Tradeshow Week, available electronically in many libraries via Gale-Thompson's Business & Industry or Business ASAP databases, or Lexis-Nexis.
