More Information On The Belt
editThe Million Dollar Belt was made by Lannie Love of Clinton Missisippi. In the WWF Vignettes, Ted DiBiase picked up the belt at Betteridge jewelers of Greenwich, CT. The Million Dollar Belt features 3 real diamonds placed in the back of the belt. The rest of the jewels are man made reproductions. --BeltFanDan 02:44, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Is it worth noting that it's an unlockable belt in Smackdown vs Raw 2008? -An unregistered guest. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.181.63.194 (talk) 20:58, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Said to be worth approximately $40,000 if anyone finds that relevant or "encyclopedic"... http://sports.ign.com/articles/456/456506p1.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.53.176.235 (talk) 16:56, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Ted DiBiase, Jr.
editOn his WWE Bio, on WWE.com, the Championship appears in his Career Highlights....that means WWE acknowledge him as being the Million Dollar Champion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.99.216.2 (talk) 23:02, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
I noticed something
editwhy do Virgil have the shortest reign with 23 days and on all other places on this page it says that he held the title 77 days
and the Ring master Steve Austin was given the title and his reign is listed on the title history Ted DiBiase jr was given the title and has ben refered to as the Million dollar champion but the title is unsanctioned so WWE dosnt recognice the title holder as a champion on ther home page WWE.com but it is listed on his Career Highlights on his RAW superstar profile --Robin Halvorsen (talk) 13:00, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
Goldust With Title
editIs Goldust taking the title from Ted DiBiase, Jr. worth noting on this page and does that mean that Goldust is the new Million Dollar Champion? Gibsonj338 (talk) 21:25, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
- I think DiBiase would still be considered the "official" champion, though what constitute "official" when you're talking about an unsanctioned title? Jeff Silvers (talk) 13:24, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
Is the Million Dollar Championship abandoned or is "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase the new Million Dollar Champion?
editOn the 3-hour Old School Raw, Goldust was able to get the Million Dollar Championship away from Aksana and give the belt to "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase then wanted to give the Million Dollar Chamionship to Ted DiBiase, which Ted BiBiase told "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase that he didn't want the Million Dollar Championship as a hamidown and then walked away from "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. Is the Million Dollar Champion "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase or is the Million Dollar Championship abandoned? Whatever the answer is, the list of Million Dollar Champions should be updated. Three time champion?
editArticle suggest Ted held the belt three times in several locations. Only states he held it twice, and his son with the same name also held the belt. Needs cleaning. Lee Vilenski (talk) 21:34, 10 October 2017 (UTC) Lee Vilenski (talk) 21:34, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
Retired - yes/no?
editLet's put this to bed - is the title retired or not?
WWE.com removed it from the championship roll call, but haven't yet listed it as inactive elsewhere on the site.
Is removing it from the roll call good enough, or do we need Moses to receive a stone tablet on Mt. Sinai to confirm that the belt is retired?
Vjmlhds (talk) 01:29, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
- Heck, it should have been listed as retired (again) the second Grimes handed it back to DiBiase. He is not the current champion. There is no current champion. The entire reversion is dumb and incorrect. oknazevad (talk) 01:38, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
- No. WWE.com includes as a current title. The champions list includes Grimes as the on-going champion. Grimes is listed as the holder. The edition goes against sources. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 08:50, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
- The one bar illustrated by the title belts includes it, but Grimes is not listed in the roll call of champions when you click in the "superstars" link in the menu. Also, this week's NXT recap on the website calls him "the former Million Dollar Championship]. Plus, let's have one discussion, please. oknazevad (talk) 12:47, 26 September 2021 (UTC)

- why are you giving so much weight to one fact and ignore the others? Removing from one place is fine, the other is a mistake. Maybe, removing him from the champions list is a mistake. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 13:10, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
- That's not all I'm giving weight to. There's also the fact that he was not announced as champion on this week's TV episode, and the fact that he's called a former champion in the official recap of that episode. Or did you not see the link I just posted? oknazevad (talk) 13:13, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
- Yes. So? The article says that. That despite Grimes gave the title, he stills the champion by WWE. Is not to us to decide if the championship is retired under the argument that the source is wrong. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 13:19, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
- It's inconsistent on both ends, as it's still shown as an active title and also shown on Grimes' WWE page that he is the current champion... however it was removed from the "current champions" list and also noted on a recap how he's a former champ
