Talk:Milstar

Latest comment: 7 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

I've noted the offical decision to call the system "Milstar", a standalone name without inherent meaning, rather than "MILSTAR" or "Milstar", an acronym for Military Strategic and Tactical Relay satellite. For historical reasons and to avoid any re-linking issues, I've chosen to keep the page at the original location. --Ryan McDaniel 14:40, 26 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Milstar mission on the page "to eat souls" is not correct - it should read "Provides secure, jam resistant, worldwide communications to meet essential wartime requirements for high priority military users" per the USAF Milstar factsheet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JeffreyTPSmith (talkcontribs) 17:15, 10 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
