Reference
editAlthough I'm obviously not the most experienced regarding wikipedia source citation, why is it that reference number 5 takes me to the edit action of the page? That really seems rather confusing to me.--12.208.82.228 21:23, 18 June 2007 (UTC) Why don't all of just stay on your section of Wikipedia, half of you editing hip hop pages have never even listened to our music, so back the fuck off and leave ALL of us alone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.207.241.107 (talk) 19:32, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- Huh? This page could stand to be redone. The entire tone sounds unencyclopedic. Vdrj2 11:58, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Sounds like it was written by a retard. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Schitaco (talk • contribs) 19:20, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
I believe the notability of Mims has clearly been established with his chart position (#6) on the Billboard charts.
The quote attributed to Talib Kweli is very awkward. What is its intent? Also, needs citation. I'm not trying to sound bitter, but you just said it yourself that it happened, so why does it need a reference everybody has heard the song. It is there because it WAS under controversy but some one just had to remove what I wrote like everything I do over here.
Misc.
editHow is MIMS related to Mineral-insulated copper-clad cable? MIMS is a monthly drug prescribing reference guide for the UK.
Move done improperly?
editLooks like Mims (the rapper) was moved to MIMS by a copy & paste job rather than the proper Move function. Was there information in the MIMS article before and if so, where is it now? - eo 16:04, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- Prior history is at Mims. I didn't use the Move function because it didn't work since the article "MIMS" already existed. If you want it done some other way, jump on it. Rest assured the history still exists, not that it matters. Cleduc 05:05, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
- I beg to differ. The history is hugely important for licensing reasons, and I've just spent a good 15 minutes trying to undo the tangled web of page histories. If you come across another move that you can't make in future, please ask an admin. for assistance; use WP:RM if necessary, but don't just copy and paste. That really is the worst option. --Stemonitis 08:14, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
So where is the original MIMS article?
editHow should this be restored?
MIMS LOGO
editthe i is from an german rapper, so what you are saying is that he should not have a photo because of this ?

Removed sections
editI removed some sections because they don't seem to be in the right place. Like the paragraph for the album. It seems about on a POV. In case if someone wants to view it, [1].
Respected his father?
editHow do we know that he respected his father? Presumably he said it in an interview or something, but in that case it should have a link to the interview. Sik2thestomach 22:22, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
Stop Removing
editEven if MIMS did have disrespecting words towards 50 Cent, then it should be mentioned. But if he claims that he never said it, why should it be removed? DEspite what happened and how the controversy played out whether he said it or not it should still be mentioned because someone wants to know and really all I'm trying to do is give information that I just know that's why I give no references or sources and some of these officials also just know, but use there power for domination and they remove it, so please let me just handle the rapper Mims article, I just know. I am considering leaving Wikipedia to form my own off-line encyclopedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.24.95.77 (talk) 00:36, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Signshare
editI have added the section about te feud with 50 Cent again, please do not remove it because it is important and does include references and sources and if you don't believe me just get online and type in Mims vs. 50 Cent feud, just don't remove it especially if you don't even know about rap too much. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Signshare (talk •
MIMS fans
editSome MIMS fans or whatever have obviously been working a lot on this article. Almost the whole article shows that MIMS is not totally crap. The 50 Cent feud part sounds like 50 is 100% the bad guy and MIMS didn't do anything. The part about MIMS' album claims the album went platinum digitally (no source) and it says 300,000 CD's were sold (when there were really only about 215,000 sold). I think this article should be changed a little. Just an idea Darius20 16:32, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

New album?
editSince when the title of the new album was mentioned? Seriously, I just had to delete (actually, nominate the past page) for deletion because no sources have been found about the new album. Seriously, why people don't put the sources? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Esanchez7587 (talk • contribs) 18:47, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
Working with Kylie Minogue?
editIsn't that Mims rapping on Kylie Minogue's All I See? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.9.207.20 (talk) 13:41, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
MIMS or Mims?
editOn his own website he's called MIMS. His surname is Mims. The title of his album is "M.I.M.S (Music Is My Savior)". On the great internets they call him MIMS. On Wikipedia they call him Mims (MIMS redirects to Mims).
It would be likely to use "MIMS", as this spelling is used on his own website. So why do we use "Mims"? RobbertSH (talk) 00:09, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
I cleaned the article up
editI added sources to it and everything.
