I have a Muletown Mini Mart t-shirt, and I'm not even from Muletown.

What Minford's Known For

edit

The author of this article mentions that, among other things, Minford is known for its "rich, Christian-based morals." No it's not. I lived in Scioto County for twenty years, and there's nothing about the moral fiber of Minford that distinguishes it from any other small town in southern Ohio. If the "Mighty Minford Falcons" are known for anything, they're known (regionally) as the home town of former WSAZ sports anchor, Bob Bowen. [1] [2] johnthacker83

CDP status of Minford

edit

Minford is currently recognized as a CDP by the GNIS, but there are still no census figures for Minford because it's new to the 2010 census. This raises the question; should Minford be called a CDP in the article yet, or should it still be called an unincorporated community for now with a note that it will be a CDP in the 2010 census? My opinion is the latter, as it seems odd to me to call something a census-designated place without a census in which it is designated, but I'd like to hear what other people think. The census happened several months ago, and the census-designated place was designated several months ago. Nyttend (talk) 02:30, 6 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
True, but the results of the census aren't actually out yet, so there's still no census data. TheCatalyst31 ReactionCreation 03:41, 6 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
The Census Bureau has released the data indicating that it has designated Minford; where else would the GNIS get this information? It already has been designated, so it is, not just will be, a CDP. Nyttend (talk) 11:33, 6 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'll grant you that. In that case, you're right. TheCatalyst31 ReactionCreation 02:09, 7 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Does anyone know the population of Minford? Just curious. My guess would be 5 thousand. Barelykicking (talk) 03:22, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
