Inspiration for the story

It seems clear to me that the book was inspired by - or perhaps is a parody of - the old Daoist tale The Foolish Old Man Removes the Mountain (愚公移山). However, I haven't yet found a "reliable source" to back this up, so for now, I'll just note this here. Mahousu (talk) 22:46, 12 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
