Clean-up
editI will help clean-up this page. I am going to start with style and grammar edits. I am also going to modify MRD detection of the BCR-ABL t(9;22) translocation in CML is standard of care in most developed countries and is not limited to clinical trials. It extremely important for the monitoring of imatinib mesilate (Gleevec/Glivec)treatment and is in widespread use. I look forward to working with everyone to make this page an excellent wikipedia entry. BTW, I have been developing and performing molecular diagnostic tests for leukemia and lymphoma MRD for over 10 years. Rcubbon (talk) 18:42, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
I don't really like the second section. I feel that the leukemia background is covered well in the leukemia wikipedia page. I would like to remove it entirely and go with a briefer description of the theory behind MRD (i.e. resistant clones, leukemia stem cells )and combine it with the Significance of MRD section.

The article is too focussed on leukaemia
editMRD is a general concept in cancer biology and therefore the article should not have such a strong focus on leukaemia 81.98.98.171 (talk) 08:06, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
