editSince the tag "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject" most likely refers to my contribution, let me state: I work in the field of ophthalmology, I attend meetings and read studies and of course I know the major innovators in this field, at least in Europe and in the U.S. I do not do minimally-invasive strabismus surgery nor have I ever undergone the procedure. That's my "connection" to the subject ! If something is wrong with this, Wikipedia is going to have a problem finding contributors with the expertise that is required, particularly for pages on scientific and medical subjects.George G Milford (talk) 20:08, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
