new minister
editFarooq Naek is no longer Minister of Law and Justice. I don't think there is a replacement for him yet. Dracunculus (talk) 18:40, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
re-appoitnment of Naek
editThis page is way outdated. Farooq Naek was reappointed as the Federal Minister for Law and Justice in April 2012. I will now update the page Potjernik (talk) 08:59, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
another new minister
editA summary of what's happened recently:
- There was an election in May 2013.
- On June 7/2013 Zahid Hamid was appointed as Minister of Law and Justice (note that "Parliamentary Affairs" has disappeared from the Ministry name) [1].
- Then on June 22/2013 he was reshuffled to another ministry [2].
- On June 24/2013 Prime Minister Sharif took over the portfolio [3]. The last article mentions that "The ministry of law and justice may be given to Zahid Hamid again, if he was found innocent, sources added."
I don't have time to work this into the article, but wanted to collect the dates/citations here in case someone else does :) Dracunculus (talk) 00:14, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
should we rename this page?
editI've updated the article with the new Minister who was appointed in November 2013.
Question: should this page be renamed "Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights", since that is what his title is listed as on their website here? Dracunculus (talk) 18:12, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
