Pictures Of Minstries
editI Think it would be a good idea to put in the pictures from the film on theseSlayerx675 20:42, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- I agree, if you can get a screenshot from the film. --Kevin (TALK) 19:51, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Room 101 is contained within the Ministry of Love and does nothing really different from the overall ministry as a whole. I believe that merging both topics would produce a more complete article without sacrificing any individuality of the subjects. ZabMilenkoHow am I driving? 07:46, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I agree as both articles are rather short and would fit together well. Evan 00:06, 16 September 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Agent Redfield (talk • contribs)
It should be merged, they are in effect the same thing, Room 101 is a place inside the Ministry of Love. Also, if you are researching the book, as I am, the fewer, bigger articles there are, the easier it is.

I disagree ... Room101 has a significance in both popular culture and the novel that means that it requires its own section ... the ministry of love does not have the same impact or importance.

Disagree. As James said, "Room 101" stands on its own, especially in popular culture. It's an 'idea' known by many, even if they do not recognize it as coming from 1984, let alone the Ministry of Love.87.210.219.0 (talk) 21:55, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
I vote we merge, and then create a disambig page for Room101 called Room 101 (disambiguation). There are too many articles called Room 101- the TV series, the Radio series, the 1984 reference, and the room in the Matrix. When will the voting for this issue end? ... -Panther (talk) 00:45, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Merge. Room 101 DOES bear significance itself, BUT it is a part of the Ministry Of Love. It should have its own section, but not its own page. Especially since its page is two paragraphs. Merge. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.209.237.161 (talk) 04:04, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
I don't think the merger would be the best move. Room 101 has achieved a cultural significance over and above that of the Ministry of Love and warrants its own article. Nutiketaiel (talk) 02:57, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
Agree. Room 101 is a part of Miniluv, so it is not necessary to make this a new article. Nevertheless we could create a disambig page (User:Panther991). Wilson Mess (talk) 07:12, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
Don't Merge, "Room 101" is not only a room in the ministry of love, it also has a place in pop culture. In the book it feels like the ministry and "Room 101" are seperate places, one, because this room is where a pivotal event in the book took place, and two, because it has such a different setting than the rest of the ministry. 58snow (talk) 03:32, 30 September (UTC)
