editIs the text at the bottom of the introduction appropriate? It seems like the last few lines are somewhat advertise-y. Could someone more experienced help? 60.242.31.143 08:56, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
Minitru in Popular Culture: Colbert Report
editAs I recall, The Colbert Report has occasionally had G.W.Bush-related segments with the banner 'Ministry of Truth.' Finding a few examples might expand the section a bit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.202.27.131 (talk) 21:21, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Music
editIf Minitru is indeed involved with the production of music, could this be given more of a mention in the article? As I recall, the music for the proles is written entirely by machine. Some guy (talk) 01:02, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Chinese Ministry of Truth
editThere is a Chinese blog called Zhenlibu which translated gives the name "Ministry of Truth". This blog reports on the official decrees of the ministry of propaganda within China and how those affect the media. It's especially interesting because it sometimes has internal documents describing exactly what the media can and cannot report on. I think this should be mentioned somewhere in this article, although I'm not sure how to do it. Anawrahta (talk) 16:55, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
