Australian politician Peter Costello has the nickname of Captain Smirk. According to ABC Newsradio, aides of his Liberal Party attempted to permanently edit out this nickname from his Wikipedia entry.

its got nothing to do with the video game

Murray

edit

I believe that in CMI, when Murray first introduces himself it is as "Murray the Invincible Demonic Skull". That's why I changed the header for his character. Plus it sounds cooler. And in this: http://www.gameboomers.com/wtcheats/pcCc/curmky01.htm website they quote him as referring to himself that way. I hope you don't mind if I change it back. Thanks! 72.208.26.191 04:13, 15 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

im pretty sure he referred to HIMSELF as that, and guybrush and the inventory called him the other, and thats what we should go by. Meddling 03:09, 16 March 2007 (UTC)MeddlingReply

Fair use rationale for Image:Rumrogers jr cutout.jpg

edit

Image:Rumrogers jr cutout.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Stan and Voodo Lady

edit

Both are characters that appear in multiple Monkey Island games, that are worthy of a mention at the top section of the page, in my opinion. Stan is the ship seller in MI1 and the coffin seller in MI2. For further discussion or I will add to article. 90.214.39.54 (talk) 01:03, 12 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
