Failed "good article" nomination

This article has failed its Good article nomination. This is how the article, as of August 4, 2022, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: The writing is stilted and is in dire need of copyediting. From a quick read-through, passages like "can be trace back", "was actually regional league", "start attracting" all show a need for improvement.

2. Verifiable?: Many uncited paragraphs.

3. Broad in coverage?: Missing information on what markets are typical to minor leagues, where players usually originate from and their fates, etc.

4. Neutral point of view?: Unsure.

5. Stable?: Pass

6. Images?: Highly lacking in images, of which there has to be some out there.

This article is clearly not ready for a GAN. Please look at other articles about minor league sports before attempting another shot at GAN.
