Richard
editIt was pretty obvious that his name was Richard, although I don't remember him being in yesterday's episode, let alone any mention of mortgage agreements. Anyway, when he's not called Minty, he's called Rick, but never Richard, so we need to include both, perhaps Richard "Rick" Peterson (better known by his nickname Minty) or something like that, as when Libby was also Squiggle, I hated the slash in the middle of her name. — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 22:42, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- It was on the papers yesterday, I double checked on the 10pm repeat. I'll try and do something... -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 22:46, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- I either wasn't paying attention or I have a very bad short term memory! — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 23:12, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Star diatribe
editI have removed this:
Garry Bushell, TV critic for the Daily Star, has questioned why Minty would kiss Heather Trott: "What shock, what horror. You watched with mounting disbelief as the nightmare unfolded. Yes, Minty really did snog Heather Trott. Why? Why would he? Why would anybody? She's not exactly a F.I.L.F. (Fatty I'd Like to [Fuck]) She's not even his type — Minty's love-life has turned into an episode of Supersize v Superskinny [Heather v Hazel]".[1] In addition to the reason I stated for removing it, this is simply anti-feminist sizeism. The actress is overweight. So? Some men like big women. Some women like big men. There is no critical thinking going on in this paragraph and it is hardly representative of the character's reception whatsoever. It represents the warped, unreconstructed chauvinist world-view of a Star writer, and the Sun is not an RS. ZarhanFastfire (talk) 14:12, 16 May 2015 (UTC)

Name change
editHey guys I was wondering whether this article should be renamed to “Minty (EastEnders)” rather than “Minty Peterson” and the same with Lofty Holloway, as they’re both commonly known as their nicknames, and fictional characters with nicknames don’t tend to have their second name with it.
