Hi, I will post my comments soon. Sainsf (talk · contribs) 08:16, 22 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • No dablinks, broken external links, copyvio issues
  • Quite a few duplinks. Use this tool to detect them and link only on first mention.
  • Sourcing - Looks decent, but citations need to be formatted well in places. Also, inline citations missing in quite a few places so the portions look unsourced.
Prose and coverage
  • Lead needs to be expanded to include all major details of the article. Looking at the length of the article the lead should be two good paras long.
  • Lead should not usually have citations unless we have controversial claims. The 2nd line in lead can have the citations therefore, but no need for the first one
  • Edward and Helen Weiner Any idea about their background
  • in Des Moines, Iowa Repeated occurrence in two lines (Early life)
  • The caption should say "Weiner" for consistency
  • only found in this online format. "found online" will suffice
  • described as “The genealogist "T" should be small
  • Weiner was responsible for changing the perception "Weiner changed the perception" is better
  • in working in the archives there "on the archives"
  • debunk the myth that existed at that time, an assumption that all Jewish documents were destroyed during the Holocaust Repetition of what was said at the start of the para. Try to rephrase the lines to include only one mention.
  • In Donations of genealogical and archival material, before beginning the list mention what the list is of like "Listed below are the ..."
  • Expand 'aka'
  • In Partnership agreements 2016 is repeated often. Try to avoid it by saying "the same year" or something
  • Weiner's family comes from Ukraine, Belarus, and Moldova. Her surname, Weiner, was originally Vinokur. Belongs better in Early life. Actually I think it would be better if the section could be merged with Early life, the name can be 'Personal life'.

Well-written and interesting :) Cheers, Sainsf (knock knock · am I there?) 08:05, 29 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Years Active

edit

For years active, it says up until 2021. There is no source for this. Is she retired, or should it be changed to present? EytanMelech (talk) 22:35, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

birth year?

edit

For a genealogist, she sure is good at hiding her birth year. I'll keep looking. If you can find it, please add it. Kingturtle = (talk) 06:26, 26 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
