Runners up?
editCan someone please find a citation for what has recently been added, saying that "If a delegate wins 2nd runner up she will go to Miss World If a delagate wins 3rd runner up she will go to Miss International. If a delegate wins 4th runner up she will go to Miss Earth".
The only thing I have been able to find so far is that four people are nominated, one for each worldwide contest - I didn't see any "ranking" in there. -- Alucard (Dr.) | Talk 21:54, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- There seems to be a mistake here. As far as I know, Miss Dominican Republic Universe, Miss World Dominican Republic, Miss Dominican Republic International, and Miss Dominican Republic Earth are four separate franchises that choose their winners independently from each other. Pageant Directors are: Magali Febles for Miss DR Universe, Belkys Reyes for Miss World DR, Diany Mota for Miss DR Int'l and Juan Rojas for Miss DR Earth. --~~
- Boy it would be nice if people would discuss this here rather than just going ahead and changing itm, then someone change it back and so on... -- Alucard (Dr.) | Talk 21:47, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Source
editWhere did the information of this article come from?? I'm concerned about the sources of the information provided for the winners. Maybe someone from the Pageant Forum [1] can help out with the article. --~~
Well I don't believe it was a very good one. Miss Dominican Republic 1973, Lily Fernández is my mother. She is not from Salcedo. She was born in Santo Domingo, my grandfather is from San Francisco de Macorís and my grandmother from Santo Domingo.
