The Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra should read - The Puerto Rico Philharmonic Orchestra - From Mike Dixon Mikedixonmusic (talk) 11:43, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Mike Dixon:, if you are (as it seems) the guest conductor for this event, you certainly are in a position to know the correct name of the orchestra. Before making a change, however, I want to ask a few things. You are saying, the PRSO is not the orchestra that will be playing and the Puerto Rico Philharmonic Orchestra is a different entity? Not much is found about a Puerto Rico Philharmonic, though I did find a Facebook page for Filarmónica de Puerto Rico which does have a post about Miss World 2021. Is it the same Filarmónica de Puerto Rico as mentioned on the foundation website of Arturo Somohano? Do you by chance have any links to a news article or press release that we can use as a citation? They can be in Spanish (or any language really). Facebook is not considered to be reliable. Thanks, --SVTCobra 15:50, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
- Done @Mike Dixon:, I have made the change. While there is still a lack of a reliable source, it turns out the claim for PRSO was misconstrued. --SVTCobra 12:56, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
Typos
editThere are a number of typos and use of bad grammar in this article, which is locked by those writing it! For example, the correct spelling is "partial" not "parcial".MWEditorial (talk) 09:20, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
- Two points: Firstly, the page editing is not restricted by those who are writing it, but rather by admins because there were people writing it abusively. Secondly, the word "parcial" appears nowhere in the article. --SVTCobra 12:35, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
- Two points: Firstly, the page is restricted. I made that point. It is true. Secondly: The word "parcial" was used in the article at the time I wrote my comment. It was rewritten to be "patial" by user Azmy25 at 4:35AM on December 19, 2021. "Patial" was then edited and rewritten as "Partial" by user Docetrece at 4:36AM on December 19, 2021. Long before you made your rather abrupt and indeed harsh response. You could have checked the history before you replied. It's a shame you did not. At the time I wrote my comment, I was completely correct in that 'parcial' rather than 'partial' appeared in the article. Happy Christmas. MWEditorial (talk) 16:47, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
- Two points (if we are playing this game): 1) Yes, the page is semi-protected per WP:GS/PAGEANT but it was done so by an administrator who is not writing this article. 2) Per the time-stamps, the "parcial" typo was fixed even before your comment. You basically proved it yourself.
I do apologize if my comment was 'harsh', but I did not delve into the history of the article and saw it as a complaint about a non-existing problem. There are probably other typos and/or grammatical errors, so feel free to point them out. Just try to make sure they haven't been fixed before you post. Cheers, --SVTCobra 17:08, 20 December 2021 (UTC)

- Three points since you're playing a game. 1) Thank you for agreeing with my original note about the page being protected and thus it not being possible to make any corrections to the errors. 2) The "parcial" typo was NOT fixed before I made the comment. I am not that stupid. If you had bothered to delve into the history of the article, you wouldn't have needed to post your sarcastic response when I did indeed feel free to point out the typos and errors. 3) You are harsh and indeed offensive. Just try to make sure you have your facts before you post. Cheers and happy Christmas. MWEditorial (talk) 17:36, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry if I come across as harsh, but your complaint was definitely after the typo was fixed by over 24 hours. It is clear as day. And this was the only error you pointed out. Merry Christmas, --SVTCobra 17:59, 20 December 2021 (UTC)

This event was renamed to Miss World 2022. Mealover (talk) 23:00, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
- Not done yet. @Mealover: please provide a reliable source for the renaming. Thank you ~~ lol1VNIO (I made a mistake? talk to me) 16:39, 22 September 2022 (UTC)
Miss World 2022 not 2021
editThe organization confirm in their website that this event is for 2022. Miss World 2020&2021 was cancelled due to Covid-19 pandemic. Penyuntinghandal (talk) 17:21, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
